A Year in Review: 2024 at Landmark Global North America
As we prepare to turn the page to a new year, let’s take a moment to reflect on 2024—a year filled with challenges, growth, and incredible achievements at Landmark Global North America.
The year began with economic uncertainty, with inflation peaking in March at 3.5% in the U.S. and 2.9% in Canada. Thankfully by June, brighter skies had emerged, and market confidence began to grow—a welcome change for us all.
Landmark Accelerate: A Proud Milestone
One of our most exciting moments this year was the April launch of Landmark Accelerate, our new express shipping service to Canada. By combining the power of our dedicated fleet with in-house trade expertise, we now deliver faster, more efficient shipping at half the price of traditional couriers. Starting in North America, the service’s success spurred a swift rollout across Europe—a true team achievement we’re incredibly proud of.

Simplifying Trade with CARM
With the introduction of CARM (Canada Border Services Agency’s new tax and duty regulations), we knew many businesses would face a steep learning curve. Thanks to our in-house trade experts, we’ve been able to guide our customers through the changes, offering timely advice and help to navigate this tricky terrain.

Building Connections at Industry Events
Connecting with the industry is always a highlight of our year. Parcel Forum in Dallas, Texas was one of our favourite events in 2024, where we met businesses eager for alternatives to traditional integrated carriers. Another standout event was Connect 24 in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, where we had the chance to engage with industry leaders and peers. “It’s an incredible event, and we’re proud to be part of such a dynamic group,” Blake Graham, Regional Sales Director, Americas.
To everyone we connected with at these events—it was great to see you!

Celebrations and Giving Back
This summer, we celebrated Canada Day and 4th of July with team BBQs and festivities—because what’s summer without a little good food and laughter? In August, we sponsored and participated in the CSCMP Annual Golf Tournament at Stonebridge Golf Club in Salt Lake City, UT. With over 10 foursomes and a sponsored hole... “It was a fantastic way to spend quality time with our customers while supporting a great cause.” Kristi Patterson, Area Sales Executive. The event raised funds for scholarships benefiting university students pursuing Supply Chain Management—a cause close to our hearts.

Partnering for Innovation with Shipium
In October, we were proud to announce a new partnership with Shipium, combining Landmark’s large international shipping footprint and cross-border expertise with Shipium’s automated ecommerce shipping platform. This collaboration offers companies a seamless way to navigate global shipping with confidence. “Shipium matches our requirements for dependability and confidence in the market, which is critical to service customers in today’s volatile world” Scott MacRae, CEO Landmark Global.

Behind the Scenes: Our Latest Filming Project
October also brought a creative twist to the mix, with filming underway at our Burlington and Mississauga facilities. While some of us were more camera-shy than others, it was amazing to see the energy and enthusiasm from our teams during this project.

Ending the Year on a High Note
As always, peak season kept us on our toes, especially with the added challenge of Canada Post’s national strike. Despite the extra hurdles, our team rose to the occasion, making 2024 another standout year for Landmark Global in North America. Looking ahead to 2025, we’re excited for what’s to come. From innovative projects to new opportunities, we can’t wait to keep growing alongside our incredible customers and partners.
From all of us at Landmark Global North America, we wish you a joyful holiday season and a new year filled with success, growth, and promise. Cheers to 2024—and here’s to an even brighter 2025!
