Shoppartners has been a familiar name in Dutch e-commerce since 1999, when founders Bart and Marcel launched their first online store. What began as a handful of niche webshops—such as topperscarnaval.nl—quickly evolved into a network of 49 webshops covering categories from underwear, toys, and garden to party, office, and school supplies. Over time, the company shifted its focus from operating webshops directly to selling via major online marketplaces such as bol.com, Praxis, Amazon and Leen Bakker.

The scale of operations reflects this transformation: Shoppartners now manages around 100,000 SKUs and processes roughly 2.4 million parcels each year from its consolidated logistics hub in Heerhugowaard. The company continues to adapt to a highly competitive retail landscape while expanding internationally.
