EUDR: Are Your Products Ready for the New EU Deforestation Regulation?

If your business imports, exports, or sells products containing cocoa, coffee, palm oil, rubber, soy, cattle, wood, or related derivatives, the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) could affect your shipments.

These requirements aim to ensure that products sold in, exported from, or imported into the EU do not contribute to deforestation. EUDR will apply from 30 December 2026 for large and medium-sized companies, and from 30 June 2027 for micro and small businesses.

To prepare for EUDR compliance, we recommend that you:

  • Assess whether your products fall within the scope of the EUDR and ensure that the required due diligence processes are in place.
  • If relevant, submit a Due Diligence Statement (DDS) where required and provide the corresponding reference number to customs authorities when applicable.

Landmark Global can support you by transmitting the relevant EUDR data to customs, helping streamline the clearance process and reduce the risk of shipment delays or customs holds.

If you have any questions about your obligations or how to prepare, please contact your Landmark Global Account Manager.
