Landmark Global extends Secure Delivery for sensitive online orders in Belgium, the Netherlands and France
Lost parcels, delivery disputes and refund requests cost retailers more than money. They can also affect customer trust. Landmark Global has launched Secure Delivery in Belgium, the Netherlands and France to help retailers protect high-value, sentimental and sensitive orders. The service provides the consignee with a unique six-digit code or QR code that must be verified before the parcel is handed over at the recipient’s address or a collection point. Delivery to neighbours, safe places and lockers is excluded. If home delivery is unsuccessful, the parcel is redirected to a secure collection point for verified handover.
Designed for products such as jewellery, gifts, high-tech goods, electronics and medical products, Secure Delivery gives retailers greater control over the final handover. This can help reduce “delivery not received” claims and related customer-care contacts while increasing recipient confidence. Landmark Global research found that 75% of consumers want peace of mind that valuable or important items will be delivered personally. In addition, 61% said they would be more likely to purchase higher-priced products from a webshop offering this option, while 57% said they would buy from that webshop more often.
If you're shipping sensitive goods and want to explore what Secure Delivery could mean for your business: reach out, we're happy to talk it through.
