Landmark Global Highlights Upcoming U.S. CPSC e-Filing Requirement for Importers

Landmark Global is informing customers about the upcoming U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) e-Filing requirement, which takes effect on July 8, 2026 for a range of regulated finished consumer products imported into the United States. The update is particularly relevant for U.S. importers of regulated consumer goods, e-commerce brands shipping into the U.S., and retailers, who should begin readiness planning and onboarding now ahead of the deadline.

Under the new framework, Certificate of Compliance data must be submitted electronically through U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s ACE system using the applicable PGA message set. Preparing early can help importers avoid shipment delays at the U.S. port of entry, civil penalties, higher importer risk scores, and possible product seizure or recall exposure.

Early preparation can help importers reduce disruption as regulatory requirements evolve. Find out more about Landmark Global’s Customs Clearance solutions.
