Landmark Global's Accessibility Statement

Landmark Global is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continuously working to improve the user experience for everyone and to apply the relevant accessibility standards.

This accessibility statement has been prepared in accordance with Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies, and follows the model set out in Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2018/1523.

Scope

This accessibility statement applies to the website landmarkglobal.com.

Compliance Status

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.

  • Compliance Score: 45 out of 56 applicable success criteria have been met.
  • Audit Date: June 13, 2025.

Non-accessible Content

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons:

Non-compliance with WCAG 2.2 Level AA

The following issues were identified during the evaluation and are currently being addressed:

1. Perceivable

  • Text Alternatives: Some meaningful non-text content, including the main brand logo, partner logos, operations maps, and the YouTube video iframe, lack appropriate text alternatives or titles. This makes them difficult for screen reader users to interpret.
  • Info and Relationships: Semantic relationships are not always correctly conveyed. For example, form labels in the business enquiry section may be misinterpreted, and headers are not always properly defined.
  • Contrast: Certain user interface elements and text do not meet the minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1. Specific examples include inactive tabs on the news overview page (3.49:1), pager elements, and headings above the destinations map (4.2:1).

2. Operable

  • Keyboard Accessibility: The main navigation menu utilizes the attribute aria-hidden="true", causing assistive technologies to ignore it. As a result, screen reader users are unable to perceive or interact with the primary navigation.
  • Bypass Blocks: There is no mechanism (such as a "Skip to Content" link) to bypass repetitive blocks of content. Keyboard users are currently required to tab through approximately 30 navigation links on every page before reaching the main content.
  • Link Purpose: Some links and buttons—specifically icons for social media or "read more" buttons—do not have descriptive text or context, making their purpose unclear to users relying on screen readers.
  • Focus Visible: Several interactive components do not display a visible focus indicator when navigated via a keyboard.
  • Label in Name: For some interface components, the accessible name (used by speech recognition software) does not match the visible label.

3. Understandable

  • Language of Page: Incorrect language codes are used on some multilingual pages. For example, the code zh_cn is used instead of the standard zh-cn for Chinese content, which may cause screen readers to mispronounce content or fail to switch language libraries.

4. Robust

  • Name, Role, Value: Interactive elements, including the language picker, LinkedIn icons, and CKEditor form elements, have incomplete or incorrect ARIA roles. For instance, some form labels are read as "[Navigate to toolbar]" rather than describing the input field, confusing users relying on assistive technology.
